Finally!! Finished up the development for the latest project and finished up the Process Interview yesterday. I though those two thing would never be done. Now I'm just looking forward to the Chinese New Year holidays next week. Thinking of taking a three day leave on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Let's see what the Project Manager and my HOD has to say about that. If I'm lucky, I'll get a 10 day holiday just for taking a 3 day leave!! Hehe.
It has been a while since I had the luxury of weekends. Since I was assigned to this project, weekends were like weekdays for me. Came to the office, did some coding until dusk then went home and watched football. If I had the energy left to watch the game..
I think it is a blessing in disguise. You know, my work. Even though my life seems hectic because of the work, it never was hectic. Really. At the end of the day I finished my work, happy that I did a good job(maybe..), could claim the company for overtime (hehehehe). All in all, life's great. For now.
The only downside to all the work is I have less time to write here. But there is nothing worthwhile for me to write about work. Just downloaded Russell Peters Red,White and Brown. Not as hilarious as his comedynow! stand up but it still made me laugh. Don't have free wireless at my house anymore. Maybe the owner of the router got smart and limited the number of computers that could connect to the router. Thinking of getting a broadband connection. W1Max? Jelatek no service lah. Streamix? Slow as hell!! Maxis? no use lah in apartment building. Celcom? same as maxis lah. At times like this, how I wish I was back at the states...sigh
