It's already September y'all

Damn. Haven't posted anything since March! Urghh. Partly busy and partly lazy were the culprits of my lack of posts.

Currently bummed out at what is happening to my country. But as always we will prevail in the end. It just mind boggling seeing all these people accusing, defending then accusing again without tangible evidence that is permissible in court. All hearsays and speculations. The media is not doing any better. Doesn't matter which side they are on. Pro or Con. Both are the same. All in the interest of sensational stories.

The saying innocent until proven guilty has no meaning in this era. Speculations prevail. Now its guilty until proven innocent. So basically we are guilty for a crime when someone convinces anyone of the wrongdoing that we allegedly committed without CONCRETE evidence. I emphasize concrete here because everyone can give evidence. Doctored or otherwise. But the evidence also needs to be concrete and true.

Facebook. Originally a social networking site with a purpose to connect distant friends and create new friendship among strangers, has been twisted and manipulated to be a hub for speculating and giving out news from bloggers and people wit no credibility as a journalist. Confidential files from companies getting leaked out, private messages are being leaked. Where are the people crying out for more internet privacy? Oh, they are the ones reading these confidential documents and spread speculations about them. Really? Urghh, hypocrites. Go figure.

Lately, the only way I can get peace of mind is when I look at my small nieces and nephews playing around like there is no tomorrow. Frankly speaking, maybe there will be no tomorrow if our society continues to have a lot of hate in their hearts.
